Truth or Fiction?

A few days ago one of my readers advised me to visit a particular website and get the truth about what is really happening in the world and, more specifically, the campaigns. The site is called Worldnet Daily.com . I urge you to visit this site, if you haven't already done so. It is the ultimate political grocery store tabloid, with headlines like "Obama funded foreign thug who promised Islamic state" or "Gadhafi: Obama a Muslim, studied in Islamic schools" and "Test shows Ayers penned Obama's 'Dreams'." Gadhafi? Since when did he become lucid enough to be believed. A few years ago, the people who would read and believe this site were calling for his head. Interestingly enough, this tabloid was started by a guy named "Farah." Could it be...? No, let's not go there.

Worldnet Daily boasts such "unbiased" columnists as Bill O'Reilly, Ann Coulter, Neal Boortz, Chuck Norris, Phyllis Schafly, and Dr. Laura Schlesinger. Chuck Norris? A columnist? You decide. This group of "writers" is a total reflection of what is wrong with our country. They make up stories, then pass them off as truth in order to stir up their loyal followers who believe anything they write or say. They are the epitome of the mean spirited, trash talking, right wing demagogues, who preach hate and division in an effort to further the far right agenda. This is the very thing Gen. Colin Powell questioned yesterday in his interviews with NBC. It is just a matter of time before Michelle "McCarthy" Bachman, whom Powell pointed out yesterday, becomes a regular.

I would recommend this site for some light reading and fun, if you can keep your head about you. If you are prone to violence or depression, stay away. It could take you in either direction very quickly. Read it with a light heart, and hope and pray that this kind of gutter "journalism" fades quietly way. If it doesn't and continues to mutate, this country is in for some very, very difficult times.

I guess your favorite reading sites are Democrat underground, move-on. org and such unbiased trash. right? You are a typical example of a political hack. mom2

I think I will contact O'Reilly and let him invite you on to his program.

Where did you get that O'Reilly is one of the WND columnists? mom2

Honestly, mom2, do you really believe this stuff? If Obama were cavorting with terrorists, don't you think he would have been under surveilance by the FBI? Wouldn't the Bush Administration have revealed it by now in order to ensure McCain's win? Do you really think that Colin Powell, one of the great statesmen and patriots of the last 20 years, have endorsed a terrorist? If this man were that dangerous, real proof would be out there. Think for yourself. Use the reasoning powers God gave you. This stuff on Worldnet is trash. These people have an agenda. Even John McCain doesn't believe this stuff. He knows he is lying. These folks are doing this to create doubt in the minds of those who would be led like lambs to the slaughter. They want McCain in the White House. McCain wants it so bad he has ruined his reputation. He can't be believed anymore. I once said I would vote for him a few years ago, because I liked what he stood for. He stands for very little now.

O'Reilly is listed on the WND website, along with a whole host of other nutcases. Check it out for yourself.

He (O'Reilly) is not listed under the columnist. Do you have personal knowledge that all these writers on the site are a bunch of liars? Present your evidence or stop trying to lead people by your obnoxious points of views. Keep in mind, I am a former Democrat. Just not a mind numb one. mom2

OK. Let's split hairs and call him a commentator. I'm not trying to lead anyone anywhere. If you want proof, I'll give it to you. Watch and wait.

Straight from your political Bible.

Bill O'Reilly is host of the "The O'Reilly Factor" and author of two best-selling books. His nationally syndicated column, the fastest-growing opinion feature in the U.S., originates in WorldNetDaily. If you would like to see it in your local newspaper, contact your local editor. The column is available through Creators Syndicate.

Just go a little slower in shooting off your arrows. Some may ricochet. I will check with you after your man is elected and see if you remain as thrilled as you are now, but of course it will take some time to tell. I don't look for the Republicans to spend eight years screaming "stolen election". There will be enough grief without that. mom2

At least mom2 concedes that we will win, so that's one good thing.

Yeah, that's what you think now. (That it is a good thing.) The proof will be in the pudding and that may be poison. Delusion is wide spread. mom2
