Excerpts from the Dick's new book states that Cheney felt that Bush gave in to public opinion and stopped taking his advice during his last term. Cheney views that as a "moral weakness." Cheney would look at it that way. After all, he liked the idea of totalitarianism. The people should not have a say in how the government is run. After all, what do they know about running a country the right way?
Well, I have to give George W. Bush credit for something. He finally saw that Cheney was dragging him down with his torture, spying on the citizenary, and Lord knows what else that lurked in that evil mind. It is a crying shame that he did not stop listening earlier, like maybe 2001. The country would have been so much better off, if Bush had not been Cheney's puppet for all of those years.
