A Post That All Christians Should Read

John Shore says it all right here. I do not need to comment, except for the fact that I have felt this way for years.

This is a very good article that should be read in churches. I find the American Christians to be some of the most narrow minded in the world. There is no real separation of church and state in this country as the founders hope there would be. Is there real freedom for everyone? Can a known atheist run for office and win? Or an agnostic? Not likely – even if they are the best ones for the position – so where is their freedom? I think that is why so many people in other countries dislike the Americans – because of the hypocrisy like a Bible in one hand, and a gun in the other and their constant affirmation that everyone is free. I have never read as much hate as in some comments on evangelical blogs when referring to non-Christians – and usually they are from “anonymous” commenters.

I get some very negative comments from a Christian prospective on this blog, and they are always anonymous.

Little off topic but want to leave you with a link from Baptist preacher near Athsns who has just started blogging in earnest. He will most likley focus on the Baptist world but he is a good soul, little more to the right of center than me and you.
But North Georgia he is. Maybe he and Thatbaptistaintright will strike up some give and take.

Yep, that article pretty much covers it. Simple really.
