I liked the site, the idea of cooperation, getting involved, engaging the political process ... But I've found out first hand that some folks are more concerned with partisanship than with the good of the country. The attitude of "if you're not with us, you're against us" will destroy us.
The more I see from the Religious Right & the typical conservatives, the more I detest their facade of righteousness & their closet Fascism.
Really. I'm starting to get ticked.
This is great. Its about time we stood up and made it clear that you don't have to be a member of the far right to love your God or your Country. We need to come together now more than ever, and leave the partisan bickering and divisions behind us and work on getting out of an unnecessary war, refocus on the right war, rebuild our economy, find new energy sources, clean up our planet, rediscover our spirituality, and help those in more need than ourselves. All these are things that benefit everyone, not just a few with the right political and social positions.
