This article makes some interesting points. Has this nutcase actually committed a crime? This same scenario takes place in politicians offices from the White House to the county courthouse. It isn't something we like to think about, but aren't most politicians looking for something in return for a vote or an appointment?
Many of the high level people, who endorsed Obama or McCain or worked hard in their campaigns, were counting upon some kind of payment, whether it be an appointment or an endorsement of legislation, etc. Blago talked about selling the seat for some kind of return, but, if he didn't actually complete the transaction, has he committed a crime? In my mind it should be criminal, but maybe it isn't. Is there enough evidence?
We don't have the facts, but it makes what the Governor is doing now make a little more sense. He's basically doing a G.W. Bush and saying, "bring it on." He may be convinced that they don't have a case and is willing to stick it out. Of course, impeachment could end that little scenario, unless he can fight it. This is going to be interesting, because this little man is so impertinent and "in your face" corrupt.

If you lived in this State and knew more, you would talk differently. But, he's a Democrat.......so it will probably just go away and then you can say there was no there, there. Common practice. mom2
To quote Ronald Reagan, there you go again with that reading comprehension thing, mom2. Once more, you have missed the point completely. Read it again very slowly. See if you can read it without placing some kind of negative slant on it that isn't there. Then comment again.
I comprehend that you are a negative, Democrat with a one sided view of everything. You and your buddies here, slapping backs with each other and your heads in the sand. I was a Democrat for 40 years, but I no longer look to them for life's answers. Don't forget to look up, our redemption draweth nigh. mom2
You still didn't read it, mom2 or else you just don't get it. Otherwise, I don't have a clue what you are talking about other than your usual "end of the world" stuff.
Are you still watching the news, gmm?
It is looking more and more like some of the same ole, same ole. Good old Democrat politics in Il. and nationwide also. mom2
Whatever you say, mom2. I still don't know what in the world you are talking about. Hopefully, your governor will get what is coming to him. He's starting to sound just a bit nervous. I hope the prosecuter has a better case than it looks to be at this time.
