If you did not see Sixty Minutes this past Sunday night, you missed an intriguing report by Lesley Stahl about criminal convictions based upon eyewitness accounts. The most fascinating aspect is the truly Christian attitude of the falsely convicted man. This man demonstrates a Christian attitude that is rarely seen, especially during the days of political "Christians" who pray for the president's death and lie, cheat and steal, while hiding behind the Bible. One has to wonder how these "Christians," who bash gays and Muslims and condemn to hell those who do not agree with them, would handle this situation.
Because of true forgiveness, neither of these two people are brooding and looking back on a terrible mistake. They have looked forward and are both doing very well. Take the time to watch these two parts of the report. You will be alarmed, if you do not already realize that eyewitness accounts are often inaccurate, but you will also feel very good when it is over:
